Figurative
I'm asked often about both abstract & figurative paintings - what inspired them, what they mean. My intention emerges with each gesture tho' I do start with a concept, figurative, abstract, floral/still life. In looking from a distance, I observe reflectiveness, vulnerability, even a rawness. It's the human experience, the loud vs the quiet, the raw vs the refined, the surprising new & the comforting old. We're constantly reinventing ourselves. It's all of that.
